• Helping provide a full day of FREE family entertainment and educational activities aimed at promoting awareness of children's health and safety issues and the prevention of child abuse and neglect.

Strong Kids, Safe Kids is a 501c3 not-for-profit corporation managed by the Task Force on Children and Families of Chemung County. The Task Force is an all-volunteer standing committee made up of representatives from local businesses and community organizations, and child advocates. Donations from local businesses, organizations, and grantors help cover the cost of the Annual Strong Kids Safe Kids Festival including but not limited to supplies, marketing efforts, festival activities and entertainment fees, insurance, promotional items/giveaways; and other community support programs/events.

The annual budget exceeds $12,000 and would not be possible without the generosity of our community. Although we have several major benefactors, seventy percent of our funding comes from small businesses, local organizations and individuals who support the youth of our community. These donations are both monetary and in-kind donations. We could not continue this event without the support of such a generous and caring community.
